Ferris Olin, Ph.D. co-directs the Institute for Women and Art at Rutgers University with Judith K. Brodsky, founder of the Brodsky Center for Innovative Print in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Monet’s Palate

Fine Art DVD and Web Experience
Impressionist painter Claude Monet left behind a legacy not only of painting but also of an exquisite lifestyle. Monet’s stunning garden at Giverny (about an hour outside of Paris), which he created toward the end of his life, became the subject for many of his best-loved paintings, including his Japanese Bridge, Le Ninfee Rosa, and his famous Water Lilies series.
John Iloulian Rugs

Designers from all over the country come to John Iloulian Rugs on Melrose Place in Los Angeles looking for the perfect carpet for their clients’ homes. As she listens to the designer, Wendy is mentally trying to match what she has on hand with what the client wants. “Our inventory is closed,” she says. “So unless I want to be pulling out a hundred carpets, I need to have a pretty good idea of what they’re looking for.”
