Robert Rauschenberg: Among Friends – The Museum of Modern Art – June 19 – September 17

The great American painter and graphic artist anticipated the pop art movement with his merging of everyday materials and traditional artistic tools. He also worked in collaboration with dancers, musicians, writers and other artists, and in the process created new disciplines of artistic practice that helped set the course of art to this day.
